Pay-What-You-Can Donations Support Mainspring Collective
This popular event will feature electronics recycling for TV’s, cellphones, laptops, monitors, VCR/DVD/CD players, keyboards, tablets, small electronics, small appliances, chargers, cords/wires, routers, printers, computers/hard drives, printers, copiers, scanners, AC units, stereo, radios, power tools, and speaker equipment, provided by North Coast Services. We encourage everyone to bring their old electronics and help reduce the amount of electronic waste going into landfills.All participants will be entered to win a raffle gift basket worth over $500 from local community sponsors including Chickadee Café, Lils Café, Maine Meat, Shilo Farm, Kittery Hardware, Shipyard Brewing, A+B Diner, Bagel Caboose, Literally Kittery, Auto Drip, Carl’s Meat Market, Golden Harvest, York Woods and Tree and Maine Pet Supply.
Freon-containing devices include older tube TV’s, dehumidifiers and air conditioning units and will incur an additional $25.00 per item recycling fee. “Pay-What-You-Can” donations will be accepted for recycled items to support Mainspring Collective in Kittery.
FILL THE SHELVES FOOD DRIVE: In addition to electronics collection and recycling, we are holding a “Fill The Shelves” food drive to support Footprints Food Pantry, a local non-profit organization located at Mainspring and dedicated to providing food and support to those in need. Paper products and personal hygiene items are greatly appreciated and not covered by SNAP benefits.
