💥 KITTERY BLOCK PARTY 2025! 💥
After 13 consecutive Saturdays of rain, the weather finally cooperated—just in time for a beautiful day for the Kittery Block Party. The streets were filled with people of all ages enjoying the sunshine, live music, family-friendly activities, and delicious food from local vendors.
We set up right in front of our office at 39 Government Street, where we offered free temporary tattoos to kids—and kids at heart—throughout the day. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces and meet locals we didn’t know and people just visiting Kittery.
Nearly 100 people entered our lobster bake raffle, which featured 10 fresh lobsters from Sea View Lobster. One lucky winner, Marie Aleksy, was thrilled to have her name drawn and is looking forward to hosting a backyard lobster bake with her family. later in the summer.
Even better, every raffle entry supported Mainspring Collective, a local nonprofit offering a dignified, effective, and empowering path out of poverty. Thanks to your generosity, we proudly reached our fundraising goal of $1,000.
