WOW! Who would have guessed a global pandemic would hit the Seacoast just in time for the Winter Real Estate market?! We have taken vital steps to ensure that our clients, our community and our team stay as safe as possible while we are conducting essential business.
These steps include:
OFFICE: Our main KW office is temporarily closed to the public, however, the Haven Homes + Lifestyle Team Agents are always available. Please continue to reach out via phone, email or text. Our agents continue to work remotely from home and the market remains active!
OPEN HOUSES: We are currently not holding Public Open Houses, but have 3D Virtual Tours, Property Tour Videos and other means for you to view our Listings Remotely.
SHOWINGS: Showings will be held by appointment only and will continue as allowed by Seller clients. We will be following the CDC Guidelines as well as Keller Williams Realty recommendations as follows:
We will promote virtual showings heavily, however, if homes are being shown, we will enlist all precautions given by the CDC that include: maintaining 6 ft between persons, touching as few things as possible, and hand sanitizing upon completion of the showing. Discussions regarding houses may be done outside or via phone, Facetime, or Zoom.
If you have traveled abroad, been sick or been with someone showing symptoms of sickness in the last two weeks we will postpone showings to anyone with a positive answer. We are asking the same questions of our own seller clients and will immediately suspend marketing on properties that fit this higher risk category.
Please prepare for each showing by bringing your own listing sheet of our listings and bring your own pens and paper to any showing.
Gloves, Mask/Face Coverings, and Shoe Covers are REQUIRED for ALL SHOWINGS. No Exceptions.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING: We will continue to blast our listings on all our social media outlets to ensure maximum exposure – especially at a time when social media consumption has significantly grown.
INSPECTIONS: Home Inspections will be attended by the Inspector ONLY. They will provide real-time phone/video calls, reports, and documentation of everything about the home. This is for everyone’s safety.
CLOSINGS: Closing protocols are currently being directed by the individual title companies and attorneys. Most are “curb-side” in that we close as separate parties from the comfort of our vehicles! We will advise you on how your closing agent prefers to execute the documents. Please understand that this process may cause some delay in the closing process. We’ve been doing it this way for many months and most title companies have a great system.
We love and value each of you, and we cannot wait until this is over and we can see you again, shake hands with you again, or for those of you who are huggers, give you a big hug!
*** THESE BEST PRACTICES SUBJECT TO CDC GUIDELINE CHANGES. Real Estate is considered an Essential Business in both Maine and NH.
